Bazley Beach Self-Catering Accommodation

Kia Ora Beach House is a spacious double-storey house comprising four en-suite bedrooms and two bunk rooms (one with four double bunks and one with two). It sleeps twenty people, but is ideally suited to accommodate four families i.e. eight adults and 10-12 children. The kitchen, dining and living area are all open plan and leads onto a large wooden deck with magnificent sea views. A braai area overlooking the beach completes the picture. There is a lock-up garage and safe parking within the fully fenced property. The house is fully alarmed with local armed response. It comes fully equipped with two family size fridge/freezers and a bar fridge, stove with oven and microwave. All linen is provided but you will need to bring your own towels. There is a T.V. with satellite dish however you will need to bring your own DSTV card. The house is serviced daily by the caretaker who lives on the property.

Bazley Beach is a very quiet area, situated 80km south of Durban. The community is off the beaten track with unspoilt quiet beaches and abundant bird life and is best suited to those who wish to escape busy city life. The only commercial development is a cafe at MacNicol’s caravan park.

Near Kia Ora Beach House: Shopping Malls, doctors, chemists, restaurants and a post office are situated in Scottburgh which is 20km north of Bazley. One can choose to play a round of golf either at the Umdoni Golf Course in Pennington or the upmarket Selbourne Golf Estate. Restaurants can be found at Rocky Bay and Pennington which are approximately 10 minutes’ drive away. Deep Sea Charters can be booked at Rocky Bay.

The walk to Bazley Beach is a mere 600m or one can take a two minute drive to the nearby Ndasingane Beach which is an exclusive beach (permit provided) offering snorkeling, surfing and angling (an ideal playground). The protected bay offers ideal swimming conditions for children and the numerous rock pools offer hours of amusement.
