Welcome to Mdoni House Guest Lodge, an oasis of peace and tranquility situated in Umtentweni a natural garden suburb nestling on the shores of the Indian Ocean – but which is just 2km from the bustling cosmopolitan town of Port Shepstone,  and close to the hype of all the South Coast attractions.  The pretty Umtentweni swimming beach which is ideal for families and surfers is just 2km away, and there are plenty of great fishing spots close by.

The Bed & Breakfast which is set amongst tall trees in a large subtropical garden was designed for the hot KZN summers, with airy rooms with high ceilings makin the use of the ceiling fan unnecessary except for the hottest of nights. Your en-suite bedroom is also equipped with a television, hospitality tray, fridge and luxury Cloud Nine mattresses.

Your delicious breakfast will be freshly cooked to order and served outside next to the sparkling suimming pool, with a view of the sea through the trees.  For those on holiday braai facilities are provided, and the busy business traveller can pre-order a three course evening meal on week nights. A microwave oven and china is available in the passage for those who prefer to “do it themselves” or heat up take-aways.

There is DSTV and an honesty bar in the comfortable guest lounge which opens to the swimming pool and beautiful views of the garden and sea from the deck.
